The Toronto Fukuoka Kenjinkai’s 2018 AGM and Social was held on March 25. We gave out awards to the seniors (88 and 95) and Ms. Godo gave a presentation on the Study Abroad Program for Descendants of Immigrants of Fukuoka Presentation. We also had one 11 year old interested in taking part in the Short Term Visit Program. After the meeting we played bingo, watched entertainers, took part in odori, ate bento dinner and finished with fukubiki. It was another successful and fun gathering. Thank you to all those who came out. Our next event is the picnic in August.
２０１８年度トロント福岡県人会の定期総会と親睦会は３月２５日におこなわれました。 高齢者を表彰したり、一年間福岡で勉強するプログラムに参加した合戸さんのレポートを聞いたりしました。今年は１１歳用の県人会担い手育成招へい事業プログラムに参加したいという希望者がいました。総会の後はビンゴをしたり、みんなで踊りを踊ったり、カラオケを聞いたり、踊りを見たり、お弁当のご飯を食べて、福引で終わりました。今年も楽しいイベントでした。次は夏のピクニックです。

Our Annual General Meeting and Social for this year will be held on Sunday, April 23, from 1 p.m. at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.  As usual, you will have to pay your membership fee of $5.  Members who are 80 years and over will get a free bento. Otherwise the bento cost is $15.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to take part in the entertainment portion (karaoke, dancing, etc.).

２０１７年度の定期総会及び親睦会は４月２３日（日）に１時から行われます。場所は日系文化会館です。このときに年会費の＄５を支払ってください。８０歳以上の会員の方にはお弁当が無料で配られます。それ以外の方には＄１５で販売します。エンターテインメントプログラムに参加される方は早めに連絡してください。（歌、踊り、得意技、５分位ならなんでも結構です。）
